The Alsace/Vosges is a region with an unusual mixture of styles, influences and cultures. This region is known for it's wines, the Muscat, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Noir. Not surprisingly there's a wine route of 170 km, the Route du Vin.This region is ideal for a sporting holiday. In the mountainous Vosges you will find stunning nature, just as in the nature park "Ballons des Vosges", ideal for walking or mountain biking. On top of this there are beautiful lakes.An ideal region for unwinding. For a winter sport holiday you can go to the ski resorts at La Bresse and Gérardmer (20 ski pistes), de the two most important ski centres of this region.
