This villa in a quiet country setting on the north coast of the island of Crete. The villa is built of natural stone, is surrounded by olive trees and has a private swimming pool. It is just four kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. The villa is on the outskirts of the authentic Greek village of Prines. There are five other villas in the immediate vicinity. The typical Cretan construction of arches and traditional 50 cm thick walls guarantee that heat is repelled in summer and retained during winter. The holiday accommodation is comfortably furnished. The living room and kitchen/dining room enjoy superb views of the sea, hills and mountains. The accommodation is perfect for families or several couples as it has three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The round swimming pool, spacious terrace, barbeque and delightful landscaped garden make the villa ideal for enjoying the Greek sun to the full. The roof terrace also enjoys a spectacular view of the surrounding area. The historic city of Rethymnon with its beaches and many facilities is seven kilometres away. The closest sandy beach is only four kilometres away. The area is perfect for walkers as there are so many mountain villages and valleys to discover. Sun worshippers will find miles of long, quiet sandy beaches along the coast to the west, even in summer.
