| Home description |
This impressive holiday home is in a small hamlet of just seven houses. The hamlet is surrounded by woods. The house is in spacious grounds of 2,500 m2. It is directly by the small River Bode where you may even see some trout. The house was built around 1900 as a dwelling for army officers in the Harz region. When the area was part of East Germany the house was used as a children's home. The current owner has been renovating the house since 2005. He has created a spacious holiday home for fifteen people on the ground floor. The first floor has three extra bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and living room. This makes the house very suitable for medium sized and large groups.
